Engr. Mustafa Balarabe Shehu is the Executive Vice President of the World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO), a past President of the Federation of African Engineering Organizations, FAEO as well as the Nigerian Society of Engineers NSE. He is also Chairman/CEO, MBS Engineering Limited, one of the foremost engineering firms in Nigeria, famous in training young engineers, with offices in Kano and Abuja.
Born on 12th April 1963, Engr. Shehu attended Kwalli Primary School in Kano City and then proceeded to Government College Kaduna for his Secondary School education where he finished in 1980. He graduated as an electrical engineer from Ahmadu Bello University in 1985.
His working career started with the Lagos Thermal Station Egbin, Lagos from 1986 to 1988. He then got appointed by the Kano State Rural Electricity Board in 1988 where he served as Head of Construction Department and was responsible for all the new electrification projects done by the Organization within and outside Kano State. He voluntarily resigned in November 1998 as a Deputy Director. Having resigned from Government employment, he established with colleagues, MBS Engineering Limited. It is an engineering firm involved in power systems designs, construction, building services, renewable energy technologies, environmental engineering, cost engineering and project management amongst other services. It has wide clientele base ranging from Federal and State Government Organizations as well as the private sector and international organizations.

Engr. Shehu is happily married with two wives and ten children. Three of the children so far, are engineers.
