Engr. Chukwunwike Chigbo Iluno was born in Jos, though he hails from Anambra State. Engr. Iluno attended Nigeria’s foremost and cradle of higher learning, Yaba College of Technology, where he obtained his HND in Mechanical Engineering 1987. He went further to attained his B.Eng in Design and Manufacturing from the University of Portsmouth, England in 2011, MSc in Transport Studies with specialization in Pipeline Design and Transportation from Ogun State University in 1998, and MBA in General Management from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University in 2002. Engr. Iluno is a Mechanical Engineer with experience of over 37 years in the Oil and Gas sector of the economy. His vast working experience cut across Refining, Plastics Processing, Upstream, Production, Engineering and Asset Management, Construction and Project Management, Compliance, Fuels Terminal Operations and General Management. Over the years, from 1987 to 2017 he worked with Texaco Nigeria Plc in various roles including Production Supervisor, Chief Engineer and National Project Engineer, Chevron Oil Nig. Plc in various roles including National Terminal and Logistics Manager, Area Asset Manager, and Compliance Coordinator for West Africa, and Folawiyo energy Ltd in different capacities ranging from Depot Manager to Chief Technical Manager. Engr. Iluno retired from paid employment in December 2017 and is active in his own business. He founded and is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the following companies:  Chuno Nigeria Ltd, Igboeze Petrochemical Co. Ltd, Chairman, Board of Governors of Kingsfield College and Member on Board of Ignite Global Solar Solution (IGSS). He is a COREN Registered Engineer, a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers,  a Fellow of the Nigerian Institution of Mechanical Engineers, and now, a Fellow of the Nigerian Academy of Engineering. He held several professional positions at the Nigerian Institution of Mechanical Engineers including Chairman Mobile Storage of Petroleum Products, Board Member, NIMechE Board of fellows, Board Member, NIMechE Training Academy, Chairman, Awards & Endowment NIMechE and Member NIMechE Transformation Initiative. Engr. Iluno has held several positions in the Oil and Gas Industry including Chairman Technical Committee of NNPC / Joint Marketers Project on quay and jetty construction of BOP, NOJ, & PWA, Chairman Technical Committee, Joint Petroleum Marketers Project on Marketers Manifold, loading, off-loading, and Fire Fighting Protections and Chairman Neighborhood, Environmental, and Safety for Apapa Joint Petroleum Terminals. He has won several performance and philanthropic awards including: Afri/Euro award, Regional Best award in Asset Management in Atlanta USA, Idemmili Local Government award for his contribution in higher education sponsorship of indigenes, Inyom Ofuobi for establishing and operating a FREE Primary School in Oba, Anambra State, and Sponsorship of 25 people to universities both in Nigeria and Abroad, Torch Bearers Society for Unparalleled Patronship, and so many others too many to enumerate here. Chuks is a full family man, married to one wife and is blessed with three children.
