Engr. Dr. Victor M. Chiwuzie was born at Oba, Anambra State on August 10, 1946. He graduated from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in 1973 with B. Sc. in Civil Engineering and carried out post graduate studies at Ahmdu Bello University, Zaria for higher degrees. He lectured at A. B. U briefly before joining the firm of Enplan Group, Consulting Engineers in 1976 for field professional practice.   He rose rapidly through the ranks from Head of the Structural Division to Associate Partner and full partner to become the principal partner of Enplan Group since 2002. As Principal Partner, he is in charge of all Enplan Group’s operations including Administration, Quality Assurance, with over 100 regular employees. He has been project Director for many engineering projects all over the country.   Engr. Dr. Victor Chiwuzie Participates actively in the affairs of both the Nigerian Society of Engineers, NSE; and the Association of Consulting Engineers of Nigeria ACEN. He was Chairman of the NSE, Enugu Branch from 1999 to 2001. During his tenure, his Enugu Branch won the NSE’s national President’s award as the best organised branch in the year 2000. He is currently Chairman of Past Chairmen of Enugu branch and Trustee of the branch. In the Association of Consulting Engineers, ACEN, Engr. Dr. Victor Chiwuzie was the Coordinator for Eastern States and was elected Council Member of ACEN in 1998. He was Chairman of the Planning Committee for National Workshop on conditions of Engagement of Consulting Engineers held at Nike Lake Hotel, Enugu.   He had served as arbitrator for shell Petroleum Development Company as well as for old Anambra State Government. He has also chaired various committees of the NSE both at National and Enugu branch level and published many Technical Reports. Some of his reports are in the Journal of the Nigerian society of Engineers.   Engr. Dr. Victor Chiwuzie has received many awards both in Engineering profession and other activities, in his town, in Churches and in various Societies. Some of his awards related to Engineering profession and administration.   Engr. Dr. Victor Chiwuzie is married to Dr. Lady Ifeyinwa Chiwuzie, Ph.D Chemistry and the family is blessed with five children.
