Prof. Bagudu Danshehu Gwadangaji, born on July 16th , 1963, hails from Gwadangaji, Birnin Kebbi Local Government, Kebbi State. Prof Bagudu obtained his primary school leaving certificate from Gwadangwaji Town Primary School(1975) and got his GCE certificate from State College of Arts and Science (1980). Prof Bagudu obtained his OND in Mechanical Engineering from Kaduna Polytechnic(1983) and his HND in Mechanical Engineering(Upper Credit) from Kaduna Polytechnic (1985). Prof. Bagudu went on to obtain his B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering(Second Upper) from BUK Kano(1983) and also got his M.Eng in Energy Studies from BUK, Kano (1996). Prof. Bagudu also obtained his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from ATBU, Bauchi (1999). Prof. Bagudu has gathered a lot of experience spanning over 35 years as he has been a key player in major industrial and technological advancements. He started his career at the Sokoto Research Centre where he quickly rose to become its Director/CEO in 2009. After navigating several positions in his career and doing exploits, Prof. Bagudu is currently the Coordinating Director, Engineering Infrastructure, National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI), Abuja. Prof. Bagudu has authored more than 60 research articles focusing on renewable energy, mechanical engineering, and energy systems published in local and international reputable journals. Prof. Bagudu is happily married and blessed with 7 children.
