Engr. Dr. Stephen O.T. OGAJI is an energy (gas & electricity) professional with over 30 years of cognate experience in academia and industry having worked as a university lecture in Nigeria and the United Kingdom before spending the decade in gas to power industry where he led the developmental efforts of several power projects including OMA and AZIKEL. Prof Ogaji has worked over the last 12 years in the Nigeria Electricity Supply Industry in various high impact organizations providing support on project transactions, generation opportunities, electricity market development, data analytics, financial modelling, project management and operations management. Until September 2011, he was the Course Director of the internationally recognised Thermal Power MSc course at Cranfield University, UK, before returning to Nigeria to work as Technical adviser to the Chairman of the Nigerian Presidential Taskforce on Power, and later continued his work as the Technical Adviser to the Honourable Minister of Power. Prof Ogaji, has a Ph.D. in Gas Turbine Engineering and a Postgraduate Certificate in teaching, learning and assessment (PgCert) in higher education from Cranfield University, UK. He also has an MBA from the University of South Wales, UK and a Postgraduate Certificate on Project Finance from Middlesex University, UK. He has a Bachelor and masters degree in mechanical engineering from the Rivers State University of Science and Technology (RSUST). He is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and a fellow of several professional organisations. Prof Ogaji has contributed to the publication of over 100 technical academic papers in refereed journals and conferences. He is also the co-author of two textbooks in Engineering manufacturing and fuels and combustion in heat engines. Prof Ogaji is currently the General Manager, Fuel & Gas/PPP at the NDPHC. Prof Ogaji is actively involved in the development and promotion of the engineering profession and in the last few years has chaired several technical conferences and sectoral planning committees. Prof Ogaji is married to Dr Joy Ogaji and they are blessed with three children- Daniella, David & Donald.
