Mr. Karl Toriola is the MD/CEO of MTN Nigeria. He has held many senior roles in MTN including Chief Technical Officer, Network Group (NWG), MTN Nigeria, Chief Executive Officer, MTN Cameroon, MTN Group Operating Executive and Vice president of West and Central Africa( WECA) ,MTN Group
He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers and a member of the Council of Registered Engineers of Nigeria. He is also a member of the Institute of Directors. He is an alumnus of global leading business schools, including London Business School, Harvard Business School, Institute of Management Development (IMD.) Switzerland, among others.
His Current directorships includes; T.R. Cameron Limited Nigeria, Cameron Hotels Limited, Rokada Limited, MTN Nigeria Communication Limited, MoMo PSB , Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG) and Board of UACN as an Independent Non-Executive Director.

Delivered cost efficiency savings and revenue increase which led to a 53.2% EBITDA margin by year end 2022; achieving an average of 25% increase in EBITDA YoY
Successfully expanded the company’s product lines, by securing final approval and commencing operations of MoMo Payment Service Bank (PSB)
Drove MTN Nigeria’s successfully participation in the NCC Spectrum auction and won the license to deliver 5G services; and heralded the first 5G commercial rollout in Nigeria
