Engr. Aramide Adeyoye (nee Animashaun) was born in Lagos on the 18th of May 1967.

She is a versatile civil engineer with proven contracting, procurement, practical field construction/supervision and project management expertise spanning over three and a half decades. Her career stands as a testament to technical excellence, exemplary leadership and an enduring commitment to the advancement of engineering and capacity building.

She holds a second-class honours degree (upper division) in civil engineering from the University of Lagos and a master's degree in business administration (MBA) from the prestigious Lagos Business School.

She began her career with Julius Berger Nigeria PLC in 1987, where her doggedness, dint of hardwork and passion for excellence saw her rise in the company to the enviable position of project coordinator /management staff in the company's region west division in July 2018. She was responsible for the design, supervision, and contract administration of several building and civil engineering infrastructure projects.

This is in addition to actively participating in their procurement, contracting, and project management. She successfully delivered landmark/iconic projects on roads and bridges across Lagos State. These include the Third Mainland Bridge, Lekki-lkoyi Bridge, Awolowo Road, and Ikoyi Bourdillon Road, just to mention a few.

She meritoriously retired in 2019 after she was appointed in the same year as the Special Adviser for arks and Infrastructure to the Governor of Lagos State, the first female to hold the position. With the wealth of engineering experience garnered overtime from Julius Berger Nigeria Plc, she was instrumental in the reforms and improvements in the quality control and quality assurance processes that culminated in the successful and timely delivery of various government projects and infrastructural transformation of the state from 2019 to 2023.

Her passion for capacity development of Nigerian engineers while in government stood her out in the design, supervision and delivery of specialised infrastructure, which she achieved in collaboration with multinational contractors and consulting firms.

Aramide is a recipient of several leadership awards and recognitions, which include the Excellence in Leadership and Productivity Award from the National Productivity Centre in November 2020. An Outstanding Merit Award for contribution to the development and sustainability of the built environment by NIOB in December 2019, an Exemplary Achievement Award towards the growth of S.T.E.M. and the engineering profession by APWEN in August 2018.

A COREN-registered engineer, a fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, the Nigerian Institution of Structural Engineers, and the Nigerian Institution of Civil Engineers. She is a World Bank/ International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (I.C.S.I.D.)-trained investment arbitrator and a CFA-certified climate risk investment advisor. She is an alumnus of several internationally recognised business schools.

She was the immediate chair of the Lagos State Technical Committee of COREN and currently a member of the Lagos Regional Steering Committee.

She is an Independent Director of Scandpoint Limited, an energy renewable company, and the CEO of ABM Infrastructure Advisory Ltd. A company geared towards providing infrastructure engineering advisory services to individuals, public and private sector organisations with focus on sustainability.

She is married to Engr. Adegboyega Adeyoye and are both blessed with children.
